Hi there, Please help! !1995 323i Saloon Auto 149Kms. Gearbox started slipping from standstill then engage with a thump. Level checked 2L ATF added. Car them developed fault code 100 gear monitoring Codes cleared and car ran beautifully for about a week. Now no drive forwards or reverse.Gear engages as car squats but no drive. Also no yellow GB light! Told it could be valve body. HELP

The gear monitoring code indicates a slippage in the transmission. This could be caused by a faulty clutch pack or torque converter. I would have the transmission diagnosed by a professional to avoid repairs you might not need.
