I got a code for a camshaft sensor error, but I've replaced it several times and the code comes back post vehicle stalling. Here is what is weird. I disconnected the wires to the camshaft sensor and the vehicle still runs and starts no problem. How could this be?

If the sensor has been replaced and the code is still present, I would check the wiring and the sensor signal at the DME.
The engine may start without a camshaft sensor, it will sync off the crankshaft position sensor. - Nick |
