Changing a fuel filter, the one with the arrow . Located right in front of the driver rear wheel - I drained the tank but most of the fuel came from the "front" of the car, rather than the topside. Am I missing something here or did zee germans decide to snake fuel lines all over the place.

Fuel will drain from the front of the system also, this is normal. 5 gallons is not, I would guess you have the hoses mixed up.
Not sure what would be clunking inside a fuel filter, unless the filter element is detached from the filter. - Nick |
