Turn signal flasher relay, E36 location

OK guys, A while back my 96 328i was experiencing intermittant right turn signal failure. None of the outside lights would light, the green indicator in cluster wouldnt light, no clicky clicky sound either.. Engaging the hazards activated the left side only. Now the right side is completely dead, same symptoms, just all the time. I checked the wires to the t/s switch at the connector under dash and the switch IS working. Ive taken the lower panel off the dash and am trying to find the flasher unit. I see 2 relays next to the column, but when I turn on the left turn, I can feel the clicking reaching way up by the rear of the instrument cluster. Any help? especially a photo b/c i am flummoxed.

Found and replaced the flasher unit under the hood in fuse box and works fine.
(its the tall relay.)
