2004 BMW 330I... pls respond. My car is overheating after two min. of driving. I've change the thermosat and water pump. i have slight leak as well but i dont see how i can disconnect the hoses. Any response is better than no response. Thanks!

I agree with Nick.
Overheating is commonly associated with air in the system. and remember that any leak that lets water out when the system is pressurized will let air in when the system cools and is under vacuum. Air in the system can keep the water pump from doing its job. That being said, two minutes is awfully quick to go from cool engine to overheated, even if the air bubble is keeping water from pumping at all. That points to a more serious problem. If you are sure you are bleeding it thoroughly, this could get ugly. |
