i have a 96 318ti obd2 m42 4cyl i had an ews2 problem Ive deleted ews2 so the car cranks but no start, no fuel no spark so i need a new dme 413, all the dme i see are for m50 or 6cyl engines so im not sure if they will just work, from what i hear it just plug and play with one of those dme's if anyone can help me out or give me some info it would be much appreciated. thanks

No you need to get the exact DME for your vehicle and it probably has to be learned to the EWS2 system
