Hi I have a bmw 318i box shape 1996 had problms with it Not starting no spark out of coil,changed crank shaft pully sensor,car starts now but cuts out when driving only when you gear down???what could it be???

Your idle control could be letting the car stall on a decel or the crankshaft is "walking" around as you downshift. Try to clean the surface where the crank sensor mounts and re-install it
