My BMW 3i8i 1998 E36 had its crankshaft censor damaged exposing the coils. It was replaced with new one. Major service was also done replacing all serviceable parts including valve, timing chain, guides, top gasket, oil pump and switch, thermostat, radiator etc. The car cranks alright but will not start even thought it is able to restart when given a little push. I was able to drive it for 100km without any problem with a push. The battery is fully charged yet it will not restart normally with a key. Please what is the problem? I need a help.

You may have a weak battery dropping voltage during cranking. Also it could be a bad main relay. It would help to know if you are missing spark, injector pulse or fuel pressure when the car won't start.
