Hi, My heating/cooling unit is staying on after I cut the car off and it's draining my battery dead. Can I just disconnect the unit by sliding out the heating/cooling face below the radio and unplugging it. Will this stop the energy flow. I have a small baby and need a quick resolution without the actual mechanical stuff until I get to a mechanic. Thanks.

This sounds like a faulty final stage unit. I would disconnect it and see if the problem goes away. If so, replacing it may remedy the problem.
