I have a 2001 bmw 325ci convertible. The window doesn't drop far enough when opening or closing the doors. They both drop a little but not quite enough. Thanks

This could be a faulty window regulator. If you give the window a push down once the door is open, does it drop further? If so the regulator may be faulty.
