Hi I have a 95 318i 4 cyl..it runs great but I recently had a radiator leak and replaced it..but now when I leave the car running on idle it starts slowly overheating after about 30-45 mins of sitting..once I start driving it goes down to normal temperature..I have been reading about having a fan behind the radiator and my car doesnt have it..can that b the problem? I only have the fan thats connected to the belts and the water oump..pls help

You viscous fan may be faulty. Or the lack of the electric cooling fan. I would check the viscous fan operation. Also, call our parts specialists with your VIN. They can help you figure out if you should h ave an electronic cooling fan.
