Hello.1997 318iC M44 Had the CSPS go out on me last week. Got the part in beware stripping that bolt!! and decided to change out the TPS, Air temp sensor, Ignition pack. Reassembled the engine, went to start...hard start, rough idle then stall.
NO codes whatsoever. Oddly the ABS and ASC lights are on. I've never seen that combination before. I rechecked my leads. Put back the old TPS and Air temp sensor to make sure it wasn't one of those, no change If it was a bad lead wouldn't I get a code for a misfire? Why would the ABS and ASC lights be on? What do they have to do with engine idle? __________________ This post was auto-generated based upon a question asked on our tech article page here: |

I would check for something plugged in wrong or a vacuum leak. If there are no codes, I would suspect the vacuum leak.
