Hello so I recently bought a 94 bmw 325is and I noticed the previous owner connected his aftermarket stereo straight into the factory wires inside and didnt use a harness a lot of cut wires its a big mess I bought some kick subwoofers and placed it on the trunk the stereo doesn not turn on at all, even when the car is running there is a blie yhick cable in the trunk the previous owner said he use to connevt it to the battery ? I dont know if I should do that though, does anyone know what I should do ? Help !! Thanks in advance

That could be for an aftermarket amplifier. I would take the vehicle to a repair shop and have them look it over. You dont want to cause a short by connecting unknown wires to the battery.
