Hi, i have 1988 E36 Compact with 130k km on it. My fuel filter was never changed! It is BMW original with date 26.03.98 on it. I don't have any problem with this car. What should i do?

I think that you have gotten your money's worth out of that one. If you don't change it, at some point the internals will disintegrate and scatter through the fuel system, causing you all kinds of grief.
