Hi,

Can someone please help me determine which parts of my '98 328i 's interior are leather and which are vinyl? I know the seats and steering wheel are leather. Now, the door panels, I'm not sure...the door handles look and feel like leather but can someone confirm this?

The door panels were not typically leather, but a vinyl-type material. I don't know of a test off-hand to figure out which is vinyl and which is leather.

Some seats are vinyl and some are leather. The vinyl is more of an industrial look, and the leather is less uniform. The leather tends to wear a bit more too. Did you buy the car new? Usually the invoice/bill of sale will say too...
