Fuel pressure Regulator?
Does anyone know the procedure for testing the fuel pressure regulator?

I may me missing the point.
But wouldn't you put a Fuel Pressure Guage in-line... This would only be a check, and not a test of the regulator it self.

If you want to know how much fuel pressure the regulator is maintaining, yes, you'll need a guage inserted in the fuel line. (just before the fuel rail is a good place).
But, if you only want to know if the regulator is functioning, disconnect the vacuum hose from the regulator itself. If the engine is idling when you do this, the rpm should go up noticably. Reconnect the vacuum line and the engine RPM should return to normal. There are some owners that say they don't notice a change in the RPM when they disconnect the vacuum line, yet their regulator is functioning correctly. So, to that end .....er....ah....Idunno... Try it and see what happens... Dan

I think mine might be on the way out. I have been noticing a weirds thing where my car acts like it has vapor lock when you start it warm, it will stumble under load for a few seconds, then come back to normal. I'm suspecting the regulator.

Yes, pianodan is correct.
Now I remember checking my regulator when it died. That was after replacing all my fuel lines after they blew off/ruptured from the regulator catastrophacally failing.
