I have a 1990 BMW 525I
Recently the windows,sunroof, power seats,wipers,and radio all stopped working. Also the instrument cluster turns off sometimes while driving. It works fine when its in the ON position, but when i start the car it either turns off completely or only the RPM stops working. Im not sure what the problem is. I read that it might be the general module, a certain relay, or the fuseable link. Could be the general module or a bus system issue. I would start by checking the vehicle for fault codes. If multiple systems are not working properly, fault codes will be set. This will be your best bet when diagnosing.
