It's a 1985 BMW 325e 2.7l and the camshaft and crankshaft both spin. The timing a ? Cause there's an arrow on cam not a line but lined it up as good as we can. It's a mind boggler

If they both spin, the belt is on wrong. If it spins freely, there is no compression.
