high idle at park position

new to this board. have a 95 325ci. recently, car has been idling high [above 1000 rpm] when car is in park position. didnt do this before.

also abs indicator light came on.....

any ideas ?

I dont think this would be related to the abs system. First thing I would do is check for vacuum leaks everywhere, particularly the hose from the valve cover to the intake. High idle is a pretty good indicator of a vacuum leak. I'd start off with that.

Are you pulling any fault codes? A vacuum leak could cause this...
