Thanks Nick for the reply about the 535i...If I can reach the bulbs for odometer without removing the cluster...Can I just disconnect the battery and leave the connectors plugged in...Also, I am having trouble finding the bulbs for the 1989 535i E34 which I'll need to buy from you for the odometer and gas gauge. Thanks again...

Disconnecting the battery can work as well.
Another caveat, don't put too much stress on the rear connectors. it is best to disconnect them. - Nick |
