Hi I have a 1992 318i my fuel gauge stopped working when i got my aircon regased, i've replaced the fuel pump thinking it was the level indicator on the pump but it still says empty what should i check now?

Check if unplugging the sending unit makes the gauge read empty, then grounding the sending unit signal wire makes it read full. Grab a wiring diagram.
