My car has been setting for two years and doesn't crank. Pressure is high from the fuel pump at the fuel rail. The car cranks with starting fluid sprayed into the air intake, but immediately dies. The gasoline has been drained and replaced. The fuel filter has been replaced. The injectors have never been cleaned, but the car was running well when parked.
I assume the injectors are clogged, as it will crank with starter fluid and has pressure from the fuel pump. Before I attempt to remove the injector rail, is there something else I should try? My skills are limited and any advice would be sincerely appreciated. ![]() __________________ This post was auto-generated based upon a question asked on our tech article page here: |
