I just did the from end of my E36 328is control arms, sway bar links, tie rod assemblies, and struts. The rear got new springs and shocks.
I then took it for an alignment and was told that they could only align the front end because the rear was "frozen" did not do a complete overhaul of it yet.... What part s do I need to change ? Is this necessary a bad thing? They also told me one wheel was exactly within specs while the other one was 0.4 of a degree off... rear of the vehicle. Then I read here that the ONLY adjustment on a 3 series is in the front.... so.what gives? __________________ This post was auto-generated based upon a question asked on our tech article page here: |

They are likely referring to the adjuster bolts for the rear. You can replace the bolts to get it aligned. However, the bolts may be frozen in the control arm bushings. That would be something you need to find out before ordering parts.
Give our parts specialists a call at 1-888-280-7799. They can figure out what part or repair kit you need. - Nick |
