Hi_ I have a 1989 bmw e30 325ishadowline My number 5 and 6 plug keeps on getting wet with fuel, I did a compression test, there is spark on the plugscylinders are firing, service the injectors and checked injector pulse.there's no fault codes. when I dry out the plugs the car is fine for a few minutes then starts over fueling and mis firing. Will a faulty coil , rotor , airflow meter, fuel pressure regulator or distrabutor cap cause the number 5/6 plug to constantly get wet? I noticed the car is over fuelingcould be a faulty airflow meter and also misfires.

If it is only two cylinders, you either have an injector issue, intermittent spark or a fault with the DME. You will have to find out what is going away causing the issue. Maybe the injectors are shorting open, maybe spark is going away.
