I have an E36 and recently repaired the shuttle on it and when I close the sunroof it automatically starts to tilt in the back once it's closed. If I remember correctly, the sunroof should stop at the close position and then you have to press the button again to have it tilt. Any ideas?

Thanks.

Did you initialize the sunroof?

What do you mean by initialize? If you're talking about holding down the forward button so the sunroof opens and closes automatically in a 30 second window, I tried that and it stayed open on tilt. I have a 93 3 series and I don't think I have that feature.
