Hi, I have a 1991 E30 and I just replaced the fuel pump and fuel filter. The fuel pump is making a lot of noise and will get to certain speed and the gas pedal will have no affect. Also looking for the transfer pump.

Could be an issue with the fuel pump. Possible restriction or wiring issue. I would perform a fuel delivery system test. Check fuel pressure, volume and quality. Transfer pump is in-tank.
