Comments: I got a 1997 e36 m3 with about 139k
I had a crankshaft sensor position A circuit. code P0335 I already change it twice with a new one from autozone then I tried to turn the car on but it did not work.. I scan the car again and I still have the same code.. I also replaced the sensor wire and checked and there is a signal I check the battery and it test good. I have read that it might be the sensor because it's not an original or oem. Any ideas guys pls.. __________________ This post was auto-generated based upon a question asked on our tech article page here: BMW E30/E36 Crankshaft Position Sensor Replacement | 3-Series (1983-1999) | Pelican Parts DIY Maitenance Article |

You mentioned you checked the signal, assuming it checked ok, it wouldn't be the sensor. I would confirm the signal is getting to the DME. Check the signal directly at the DME.
