BMW Roundel Heater

Changed the antifreeze over the weekend and the heater will not work as before. Will work on low after 20 minutes or so with the recirculaiton mode selected. Heater worked great before changing the antifreeze.

First guess is that there is an air bubble in the cooling system somewhere. Bleed the whole system. There should be a valve located at the highest point of the system, open that up and run the car until coolant with no bubbles comes out.

Thanks for the quick responses. Your remedy matches a "Chiltons" service manual solution. Thanks for the quick response....

Will preform operation tonight and advise.

Recommendations worked. Thanks for the advise. Heater is working just in time for the 29F degree weather we are going to get in the morning.

Sincerely,

Hey Doug, welcome to the board! Does the F1 stand for Formula One racing? Just kidding. Remeber to buy all of your parts from Wayne.
