Question on E30 Idle speed troubleshooting

hi pelican I have bmw e36 318i 4 cylinder m42 car,the problem is after start engine within within 5 sec engine automatically stop.if i push throttle after start abt 1000rpm abt 2min then only idle stable 900rpm.can i give me any answer for this...thanks

Sounds like you have a vacuum leak. Check the intake system for leaks, and don't forget to check the rubber boot for the mass airflow sensor.
