Just got a 1994 BMW 325i convertible.Tried to lower top but no response and light does go on when pushing switch into position.Already checked fuses and all appear to be ok. Not sure what to do next.Need help

Best bet is to confirm the parking brake is working, if the switch isn't on the top won't go down. Also check the convertible module for fault codes. Otherwise you are guessing at what the possible cause could be.
