Hey,
I am looking to make my 95 325 faster. I currently have dinan, exhaust, chip, intake, throttle body, racing dynamic headers and like most i need more. I have been looking into flywheels and pullys but I can't get a straight answer from the websites whether they are really worth it? And does anyone know of anything else i could do in that price range. I would like turbo or supercharger but i don't have the money Thanx John |

Keep in mind that the Dinan stuff for the E36 is overrated and really doesnt give as much HP gains as they advertise. I would suspect that the next step would be to change the cam. With the intake and the chip, that will really wake the car up.
As for the the pulleys, don't bother. Underdrive pulleys only give you 1 or 2 HP at the most. There really isnt that much of a draw on the engine. As for the flywheels, they wont add any power, but they will allow the engine to spin slightly faster The problem is that the powerband may be affected. Your best bet at this point is to get a cam. Shrick cams are great. In most cases all you have to do is bolt them in and thats it. Just do your research and find out which lift and overlap you are looking for.

If you are looking for bang for the buck, go with a supercharger. It really is your best bet. Wayne is going to be putting a blower on his 318is, i think the expected power increase is something like 50 to 60 hp.
Superchargers are cool. You just have to do your research and make sure you know what you are doing when you install one. I would at the very least have the head rebuilt prior to installing one. I prefer superchargers to blowers because the boost is instantaneous from the second you hit the pedal. Whereas you have to wait for a turbo to spool up. |

I would love to put a supercharger for my car but the ones i have seen are usually no less than $5500 and since i am at college i have no tools so that would cost an extra 1000 to get installed. I have heard that RMS have good superchargers
