I've got this heat shield and I believe it fits over orifice in the engine carrier. The orifice(just below turbo)(does something fit in this orifice?) is shown in the old catalog on page 76 and page 131 in the 85-88 catalog. I cannot get the screw holes to line up no matter how you try fitting it on. Does it fit there? What could I be doing wrong?
Any help greatly appreciated. I'm almost done with the job, but can't get my brain around this heat shield.
