Not it. For some reason a flaw in the design. Meaning when set off in a collision, they could and did sent metal fragments into the faces of passengers. Never heard of the heat angle. But that could be possible. Anyway, the replacements supposedly eliminate the metal fragments possibility. I have no urge to find out...

Yeah Sid, I haven't a clue how I've avoided crashing over the past 9 years...weird, but I've found my Mustang to be a pretty well balanced driver. Definitely a no status and no thrill ride. Pretty much what I expected when I bought it. But then, I don't do car things now.
