Broken speed/ref sensor connector

So I was poking around under the hood last night, and ran into a couple of electrical issues.

1. The wire that connects the turbo cooling pump had corroded through and was broken. It had been previously splicedand I re-spliced it, but the wire itself is very hard and had a previous splice. i am thinking I may have to dig this out of the harness and rewire it whenever I take the top of the engine apart.

2. A connector at the back of the engine crumbled. I believe it is a speed/ref sensor connector, and I believe it is the sensor side, not the harness side. Can anyone tell from the picture? If so, does anyone have a pigtail from a bad sensor they could send me, or should I just coat the thing with liquid electrical tape? I have enough work to do right now that I would rather not go after the sensors which work perfectly fine (but since i said that, they will probably die on me now).
