Most of my CL experiences have been OK. Some were really special. Made a friend when I responded to an ad for farm raised chickens. We are now cooperating on raising a batch next spring. CL is not all wierdos and creeps.
We have hauled tons of stuff to Goodwill, St. Vincent, and the local Rehome place. Some things they just won't take - like a 12 foot oriented strand beam and a 10 foot cardboard tube. Each trip to the dump is $35. When face with hauling it to the dump and paying $35 or putting it on Craig's list and making it someone else's problem, CL wins out. Sold an electric motor yesterday. I put the motor and a coffee can on the porch. Told the guy to put the money in the can and take the motor. Worked out fine.
