VEMS can work using stock crank sensors, you would only have to replace throttle sensor.
VEMS PnP kit comes with everything you need for getting your car to work. Unless you pull the engine there's little point installing knock sensor bridges (requires drilling the cylinder heads) and if you do that you might as well madhine pistons a bit to lower CR (or change them out for other ones) and also convert to twin plugs (with VEMS it is easy-peasy to control).
