At least for the 3.2 Carrera's...there's been a number of anecdotal reports that some cars are simply noisier than others....and can't find anything wrong.
Maybe the same with some 3.0's.
Would be good to know if they are relatively quiet at first ( engine just warming up)...with the noise getting louder as it gets up to temp...rather than noisy all the time.
---Wil Ferch ( rather have them a "little bit" noisier than too quiet).
