Some may not know this but there are 2 versions of Hulu . There is what I call Hulu light which generally is $7.00 a month . Minimal live programming but the ability to watch shows that aired as recently as 24 hours previously . We have had that service for aprox. 2 years along with Sling . Aprox. 3 weeks ago we dropped Sling and Hulu light

and signed up for Hulu Live which is 39.99 a month . We get over 60 channels including local which we didn't get with Sling . No extra money/packages to get ABC/CBS/NBC . We also get a full variety of sports programming so both myself and the wife are happy

. The channel selector/user interface is much different than cable but very easy to get use to . So our electronic entertainment budget is 39.99 for Sling Live and internet access that's it . Our internet is DSL via Windstream and while it is not lightning fast it is fast enough for streaming with very little buffering . We are very happy with what we have now .
