So Tabs, are you saying monkeys who can't evolve are the ones who are frustrated by their inability to adapt to the changes around them? That seems to be the way of the folks who long for the "good old days".
But then as my father used to say, "Anyone who talks about the 'good old days', wasn't there."
The world changes. We adapt. Trying to stop the evolution of society is as futile as trying to reverse plate tectonics. It is no good moaning about the times of Pangea or any other bygone era.
On a personal note, I feel if one's sense of self worth or purpose is based upon the domination of another, there's a lot of personal growth to be achieved.
