I removed my spark plug wires and spark plugs and in the process the engine tins as part of my job ignition maintenance job.

The formally satin black engine tins look tired on the side that faces the wheel well.

Anyone have experience rattle canning them black and have it last?

Or do I need to shoot some 2k high temp black or powder coat them?
