I was bored one night in the garage and started rummaging through the scrap metal.

Blade made from an straightened leaf spring. From tip to hand guard the blade is 21 inches. The hand guard came from a block of aluminum that originated from the measuring system of a 1970's Blackhawk frame machine. Wood grip is hickory from a broken baseball bat. The pommel was well the right shape so I went with it. All epoxied and pinned.

I think it took me about 2-1/2 hours.
