Hi,
An oil analysis is accurate way to detect coolant mixing with oil. I would send in some oil before starting replacing parts, especially since the oil is not obviously contaminated.
Is the coolant missing after driving the car? Have you looked at the spark plugs? If there is not an external leak, and no leak into the oil, a cylinder head problem is possible.
