14 ' - 16 ' aluminum boat - recommendations ?
I've had the " itch " for a while for a new toy . It started with a motorcycle but I decided to pass as I think my bike days are behind me . I've had plenty of boats in the past up to a 23 ' cuddy cabin with 5.7 litre inboard outboard . I'm at a point now where I want simple ....... simple to load/unload .......... simple to clean ......... just simple  So my vision is a 14 ' to 16 ' aluminum boat with a tiller handled outboard motor . I would prefer a V-hull as I am most familiar with that style but would consider a flat bottom . Main goal is to just tool along on a lake or river maybe with the wife or grandchildren and do some fishing .
So what are the forums thoughts or suggestions ? I'm thinking a max hp of 25 - 30 and will purchase used . Anyone have something for sale relatively close to the north GA. mountains ? Looking for boat/motor/trailer .
