Yes, I believe Costco won't stray far from stock sizes. Your series Carerra '84-'89 all had 6" fronts as stock I believe. BTW - did you mean your current sizes are 205 & 225?
I tried to get some tires at Costco for my wife's car and was fortunate enough to get a different tire size than originals because the diameters were less than 3% larger than stock for that year.
It would be nice if they just had the customer sign a waiver saying they understand the different tires may change the characteristics of the car and waive Costco liability.
Seems it would run a bit deeper than that however.
