Back in about 1979-1980 I worked for a company out of Chicago called Bell&Howell
I was sub-contracted to Warner-Lambert/Park-Davis Pharmaceuticals
My job was to set up and supervise a large scale microfilm job of some outdated files.
This company was THE company the government paid to do the pot research in 1936.
I read the Original file.
I am not a medical professional by any means, so my understanding of what I read was very limited. It was written as a scientific analysis of what was/is contained in the smoke.
As a comparison, they also did the same test on cigarettes smoke.
The main thing I took away from reading the file was pretty easy to understand, at the end of the report, it broke down the number of chemicals/ substances in pot smoke and in cigarette smoke.
As best as I can remember, pot smoke 600 substances..... cigarette smoke 800
I have never smoked, but... damn. 800 chemical based substances !
Wish I had taken pictures of this. I have never spoken of this till now. Bell&Howell went out of business in2000 so I think I am safe.
