I did some reading and find the SRD may fit my bill and body style well. I have a few questions remaining for the install in my 81 SC sunroof coupe:

Will these put me any lower than my worn stock seats? I am 6'3" and hit the roof when wearing a helmet.

I have a weltmeister style harness bar and a set of 5 point harnesses that I want to use. Will I need the SRD with the cutout for the sub belt or can I run the one without?

Do the SRD indeed not fit well when using the DAS rollbar? I hope to install that bar later sometime. How about the drill-hole style bars?
