It's a tough call on the height. I don't seem to be any "lower" but my body position is MUCH better in the SRD's than in my old Sport seats. You actually sit IN the seat and can put your head against the back of the seat. Much better positive driving experience. I love mine. As far as the other stuff, I'd definately do the cutout with a sub. The seats are a bit higher in the back so I'm not too sure about the roll bar.
