Hey all, I recently pulled off the front brakes to my '91 and they're a bit beaten up and corroded. Originally I was just doing rotors and pads and then realized that I was getting some nasty plate lift due to corrosion and couldn't get the new pads in.
Here's a photo gallery of the worse of the two calipers. My question is if visually they look safe to rebuild (ordered the piston kits from our host). Never rebuilt calipers before. My friend managed to get the plates off by welding nuts to the screws (heads had long since ceased to resemble allen? sockets).
I can take photos of different angles when I get back home... at work now and just had these on my phone.
