Looks great, I did a similar thing except I used the piece of carpet that lays over the back seats when they are down, trimmed it a little and glued it in. Matches the rest of my carpet.
I might suggest using aerosol spray glue for the rest. It sticks the carpet down fine but if you need to get it out you can pull it out. The liquid nails might never come out??
