Stalking is about power. And there's only one way to deal with it.

Break contact with the person stalking you and regardless of what they may do don't respond or answer in any way.
Just ignore them and get on with your life.

A woman has been stalking me for about 5 years and I haven't talked to her in over 3!
Just last Valentines day I got a bunch of flowers from her. Meanwhile she's had a partner for over 20 years!
